Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Erebus Solar, LLC ("we", "us") publishes the Erebus Solar app on the App Store. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@erebussolar.app.
2. Data we collect
None. We do not operate a backend, we do not ask you to create an account, and the app contains no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking software. We cannot identify you, and we never receive your projects, photographs or reports.
3. Data stored on your iPhone
The app keeps the following on your device only. It is removed when you delete the app, and it may be included in your iPhone's iCloud or computer backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Your profile: the name, company, email, phone number and logo you enter, used only to label your reports.
- Projects: site names, addresses or coordinates, area boundaries, notes and status.
- Captures: the sky images taken during a sweep, the stitched sky, your obstruction masks and derived measurements.
- Exports: the PDF reports and horizon files you generate, until you delete them.

5. Network requests the app makes
The app has no server of its own. The only network use is Apple Maps, which supplies the aerial imagery and address search inside the app; those requests are handled by iOS under Apple's privacy policy. Files you export leave the phone only through the iOS share sheet, to the app or person you choose.
6. Purchases
If the app offers paid features, they are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles payment, billing and refunds; we never see your payment details.
7. TestFlight and App Store diagnostics
If you install a beta through TestFlight, or opt in to sharing analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with crash logs and aggregate usage statistics. These are anonymised by Apple and used only to fix bugs.
8. Children
Erebus Solar is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
9. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. To remove everything the app stores, delete it from your iPhone. If you believe we hold data about you, or have a question under GDPR, CCPA or similar laws, contact support@erebussolar.app.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and note material changes in the App Store release notes.
